5/10K Fun Run:
Date: Saturday, June 7th
Time: 7:30am both runs begin
Fee: $18.00 for 10K (if postmarked by 5/31/08)
$20.00 thereafter. $15.00 for the 5K
Registration and packet pickup begins at 6:30am at the Amphitheatre area in Landreth Park. This year's race will feature Chip Timing.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the 1st - 3rd place overall male and female finishers. Division awards will be given to the 1st - 3rd place finishers in both races. All entrants will receive an official Boomtown Run t-shirt.
The run will start on Murphy Blvd. near the Landreth Park Stage Area. It will weave south and east before merging north onto the Frisco Greenway Trail. The trail is a hard packed, converted railroad line and provides a scenic run for all. Water stops will be provided. Both 5K and 10K courses are USA TF certified.

Boomtown Idol Presented by Fox 14:
Idol competition will begin on the Main Stage, Friday at 5:30pm. Please check back for details on applications. Click Here to download Idol Rules.
Coloring Contest Presented by Rib Crib:
- Contestants must be children 12 and under
- Contest will be judged in two age groups: 7 and under and 8-12 years old
- Two winners from each group will be selected
- Winners will be selected by the Boomtown Days committee on June 5, 2008
- Prizes include an opportunity to meet "The Hulk" on Sunday, June 6, 2008 and winners will also receive a "Kids VIP Party" at Rib Crib where they and 5 of their friends will be treated to a delicious meal and dessert
- Coloring sheets can be picked up and turned in at the Joplin Rib Crib location
- Remember to put your child's name and phone number on the back of the sheet
