Kids Activities
The 2008 Boomtown Days Festival is proud to announce that we have doubled our Kid's Area! This year we are adding full-size carnival rides and entertainment for the tweens and teens in your family along with all of your festival favorites for the younger kids.
Once again, all of the activities in the Kid's Area will be free when you show them your Boomer Button. For only $5.00, you can purchase a Boomer Button that will admit you to the festival grounds and give you and your kids access to all of the activities and entertainment offered at the Festival (food and merchandise not included).
This year the Kid's Area will feature the following activities:
- 14 Carnival Rides -provided by Pride Amusements
- 6 Inflatable Bounces - provided by Pride Amusements
- Face Painting - provided by Groovy Faces, sponsored by St. John's Regional Medical Center
- Balloon Art -provided by The Happy Cabbie
- Caricature Artist -sponsored by Railroad Restoration and Salvage
- Pony Rides -provided by Cozy Critters Farm
- Petting Zoo -provided by Cozy Critters Farm
- Fishing Games w/ Prizes - provided by MO Dept. of Social Services, Children's Division
- Giant Treasure Mind Sand Pile -provided by Carl Junction Christian Church
- Paper Hat Creation Station -provided by Spiva Center for the Arts
- Temporary Tattoos -provided by Big Brothers, Big Sisters
- Kid's Fingerprinting -provided by Joplin Fraternal Order of Police (SATURDAY ONLY)
- Appearance by The Incredible Hulk - Marvel Comics (SUNDAY ONLY) Super Hero(es) is a co-owned registered Trademark
